WR200 - Write Now! Starting or Boosting Your Writing Practice
This workshop is intended for new or experienced writers who want to start or revitalize a writing practice within a supportive setting. Each two-hour session will offer writing prompts that encourage creative expression. Participants will share their drafts with the group for feedback and revision. Questions? Instructor Bio: Lenore Balliro received her BA, English/Education from UMass Dartmouth, a MA, English Rhode Island College Providence and a certificate in Expressive Therapies from Lesley University, Cambridge MA. She has years of experience teaching writing, especially in non-formal settings.
She is a former recipient of the RI State Council on the Arts Award for Literature and was the winner of the Gloucester Writer Center’s Bianchini Write-On Award in 2016. Her work appears in national literary journals and anthologies as well as in professional education journals.
