Make an impressive Gold leafed wishbone of your very own during this Demo and Workshop.  Learn the unique and time-honored process of gold leaf application and discover the secrets of this ancient yet modern art form.  Pat will demonstrate on gessoed board, paper and other objects, the process of how to apply this valuable and exquisite material on just about anything.  You will learn about the different types of genuine gold and silver leaf processes, as well as other leafed metals while learning the history and mystery of this art form while taking home a sweet little piece of jewelry of your own.  Bring a small chicken wishbone to class, cleaned of debris and dried.  If you’re a vegetarian, we’ll supply one for you!

Pat Kellogg has an impressive art background which has brought her from her art education at the Ringling School in Florida, to master’s level work at The School of The Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, to Curator at The Newton Art Center and Skinner’s Auction House. She is a brilliant artist, educator and art appraiser, web designer, exhibition curator, jewelry designer and a real renaissance woman. She and her husband are currently members of Hatch Street Studios.
