In this three-hour hands-on workshop, you will learn through individual color mixing and matching exercises using brush and paint, as well as, cutting and pasting colored paper how color works. And, whether you’re a self-taught dabbler or are just a curious learner, this course will go beyond learning the application of color. We will also explore how color can and does affect our perceptions and emotions and its practical use in our daily lives.

INSTRUCTOR BIO:

Ron Fortier is an American abstract painter with an MFA from the University of Miami. He was an adjunct professor in 2D studio and Art History and is semi- retired from a 40-plus-year career in marketing as an advertising creative, marketing consultant and an adjunct professor of marketing. He paints prolifically and has lived, painted and exhibited on the Silver Coast of mainland Portugal until recently. His primary residence is now Fairhaven, where he continues to devote his energy to maintaining his career as an international artist.
