HW168 - HATHA YOGA

A gentle hatha yoga practice exploring breath, movement, and meditation. This class will teach yoga poses with modifications, introduce yogic breathing techniques, stretch and warm the body. This class is slow paced and perfect for the first time or beginning practitioner. Seasoned yogis will also find a mindful and intuitive practice.

Instructor Bio:

Chloe Gilligan was born in Clarecastle, Ireland, but migrated with her family to the U.S. and was raised in Dartmouth. She has an education from UMass Amherst in political science and is certain that both an awareness of politics and self -reflection help her maintain a balanced life. She enjoys the dynamics of working in vibrant, fast paced community environments. Yoga is a tool for her to feel grounded and and has been a healing process for her. A young and enthusiastic instructor who through her own love of learning and under Juliet Loranger’s tutelage has developed a desire to share a thoughtful yoga practice with others. Chloe teaches and practicesHatha Yoga focusing on alignment through posture and works to cultivate stability, mobility and flexibility.
