Speaker BIOS:

Leah McFarland has been the Land Steward for DNRT since August 2017. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Baylor University. Leah served for two years in AmeriCorps conservation programs, helping to restore habitat and connect people to nature. As Land Steward for DNRT, Leah is responsible for maintaining 40 miles of trails and managing land management volunteers.

Linda Vanderveer has been the Land Manager for DNRT since May 2013.  She has a Master’s of Environmental Science and Management and four years of experience working for an environmental consulting firm before joining DNRT. As Land Manager, Linda is responsible for managing 1800 acres of land, leading restoration projects, and opening new reserves for the public.
