MOSU 155 - Musical Theatre Magic

Join us for a week of singing, dancing, and acting in this high-energy musical theatre adventure! Each day, young performers will build their skills through fun warm-ups, theatre games, and creative exercises, all leading up to a mini showcase at the end of the week. Students will explore storytelling through song and movement while gaining confidence, teamwork, and stage presence. Perfect for beginners and budding Broadway stars alike, this class is sure to be a hit!

No experience necessary. Comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes recommended.

BIOS

Abby Berry (She/Her). Abby is a recent graduate from AMDA (American Musical and Dramatic Academy) NYC and LA campuses. She is an experienced professional inmusical theater and in acting for TV/Film. Along with performing, Abby is very passionate about education in the performing arts. Abby has taught children’s programs at North Shore Music Theatre and Reagle Music Theatre. Abby believes her teaching aspirations are about joyful exploration, big feelings, and helping every young voice shine with confidence and creativity! She hopes to empower expression over perfection and create a collaborative culture.

Sydney Peterson (she/her) is a singer, dancer, actor, and choreographer based in the Greater Boston area.  She earned her BFA in Musical Theatre with a Concentration in Dance from Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University. Recent performances were in the Ensemble for Carrie: The Musical (CCPA), swing for Anyone Can Whistle (CCPA), Janet Van DerGraaff in The Drowsy Chaperone (Cape Cod Theatre Company), and as Dreamster #4 in the world premiere of Dreamsters (CCPA). When not on stage or in the studio, she can be found on her yoga mat.
