Poet Lenore Balliro will read from a collection of poems that focus on the joy, nuances, humor, thrills, and complications of love in the later years. After a 30- minute reading, attendees are invited to discuss the work and its themes with the poet and each other.

Instructor Bio: Lenore Balliro is a writer, educator, and art maker. She is a former recipient of the RI State Council on the Arts award for poetry, the Alms House Press chapbook award, and the Gloucester Writer Center award for flash fiction. Her poems have been published in a variety of local, regional, and national journals and anthologies.
