Coastal Cheer: Holiday Watercolor Cards & a Buoy Tree Ornament
Coastal Cheer: Holiday Watercolor Cards & a Buoy Tree Ornament
Celebrate the season with watercolor, coastal inspiration, and a little Padanaram holiday magic.
Get into the holiday spirit with a relaxing evening of watercolor painting inspired by the coast.
In this beginner-friendly workshop, instructor Lana Quann of The Wandering Brush, will guide participants step-by-step as they create four coastal holiday cards and a special buoy tree ornament and mounted on a natural wood slice.
A selection of coastal designs, stencils, and lettering styles will be available, allowing each participant to personalize their cards with messages that feel just right for the season. The buoy tree, an iconic symbol of the holidays in Padanaram, makes a charming ornament to keep or give as a gift.
No watercolor experience is necessary. All materials are included, and Lana’s supportive instruction makes the class welcoming and enjoyable for beginners.

Instructor Bio
Lana Quann is a self taught watercolorist from New Bedford. She earned her BA in Art History from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth and has studied a variety of mediums. In 2018, after a 30years hiatus from art she picked up her brushes again, this time teaching herself the complex yet magical art of watercolor. Through persistence and encouragement she created 'The
Wandering Brush' where she shares her love for the magic of watercolor art in an everyday, simplified way experimenting with a variety of pigments, papers and brushes. She believes art is for everyone and puts aside the label of "fine art" to bring fun, exploration and playfulness to both her work and classrooms
