Learn to Weave: Rigid Heddle Loom
Spend five evenings discovering the surprisingly satisfying rhythm of weaving. With fiber artist Lisa Elliott as your guide, you’ll learn to work on a rigid heddle loom, experiment with color and texture, and watch your own fabric take shape, thread by thread. Designed for beginners and limited to just six students, this small, hands-on class offers plenty of individual guidance and time to settle into the creative process. You’ll leave with new skills and a beautiful handwoven piece of your own.

The Dartmouth Cultural Center invites members and guest artists to participate in our 2026 Member & Guest Exhibition. With no theme and no jurying process, artists are encouraged to explore something different, take creative risks, and share the work they're most proud of.

DCC Members: Up to two original artworks, free

Beginner Calligraphy Class, Italic with Rick Paulus
Dip your toes into the blissful and expressive world of calligraphy in this four-class introduction to the Italic hand. Former White House Chief Calligrapher, Rick Paulus, will gently guide you through your first calligraphic mark-making - and beyond - as he introduces you to tools, techniques and letter shapes, establishing a solid foundation from which to bigin you own calligraphic journey.
